Application & Multimedia Development (AMD) formerly Center for Visual Computing (CVC) has been adapting to fill needs of the University of California at Riverside, with a specialized role involving application development and the development of Rich Media Content.

The AMD group creates digital media experiences. We build Database driven applications that interface with UCR’s vast enterprise systems and Financial systems, and relate this data driven backbone to Websites, eLearning applications, Marketing tools. Our work distinguishes itself through both function and form.

Developing for a SUN/Oracle platform, we provide an Oracle database and use the PL/SQL programming language to access the data via the web. Your application will reside on a secure server for your users to access via any browser. If you would like to have more control and flexibility over your systems, we can develop solutions that allow you to make administrating easier.

We work with you to design and implement custom solutions for a diverse array of University applications. Our rich multimedia content products , include but are not limited to dynamic websites, video/streaming presentations, and Learning modules.
